Friday, October 18 – Family “At Your Home” Tent Party

Families may set up their tents inside or outside of their homes. Families will eat dinner together under the tent and discuss the question: “How does God take care of us and provide for all of our needs?” Families may prepare a list of things for which they are grateful. Families may read Leviticus 23:33-44 and Matthew 28:20. Families may play or sing, “God Is With Us” as the family remembers that God always “tabernacles” with them. Ministries will provide a tent as well as foods and items to share with the church family and friends based on their assigned color. Ministries will host one or more games for enjoyment.

• Families and ministries may set up tents on Sunday, October 20th, 7AM to 9AM on the assigned area of the KBC lawn (Worship in the KBC Sanctuary will begin at 9:30 a.m.

• Families and ministries must bring prepared and packaged food items. To enjoy this time of celebration, families should consider bringing coolers for items which need to be kept cold, lawn chairs, bottle or can drinks, ice, lunch, desserts, etc. (Cooking will not be permitted on the KBC grounds.)

• The restrooms in the Sanctuary will be used as needed. Children and youth must have adult supervision as they enter the Sanctuary to the restrooms.
