Prayer Topic #11:
A Prayer of Thanksgiving for The Kingdom Builders’ Center (KBC)
Scripture Readings:
Isaiah 12, II Chronicles 6:14-42
Reflections of the Heart:
What a mighty God we serve! Our Father is using The Kingdom Builders’ Center (KBC) to not only be our place of worship on Sundays, but He is also using it to be a blessing to the community at large! Praise God for a building that allows us to reach out to those who normally would not cross our paths.
Scriptural Prayer:
Heavenly Father, we praise and thank You for Your merciful kindness towards our Windsor Village Church Family. Thank You for using The Kingdom Builders’ Center (KBC) to be a place of hope, help, and love for the people in our community. Thank You for entrusting our Church Family with this amazing facility. We praise You in Your sanctuary for Your mighty works and unequaled greatness. With the blast of the ram’s horn, with the lyre and harp, we will praise Your holy name. We honor and praise Your name for You are our God. You do such wonderful things; You planned them long ago, and now You have accomplished them. You are a tower of refuge to the poor and to the needy in distress. You are a refuge from the storm and a shelter from the heat.
Loving Father, every good and perfect gift, including The Kingdom Builders’ Center, comes from You. Lord, we thank You for The KBC. We declare that this facility is a joy to all generations and a blessing to the Houston community. We declare that The KBC is a destination point for worship, recreation, education, entertainment, and relaxation. Thank You for the teams who work tirelessly to make sure the building is always in immaculate condition. We thank You for the financial, educational, social, spiritual, and community opportunities that are offered through this great facility. Thank You for BakerRipley Neighborhood Center, the Empowerment Community Development Federal Credit Union and Office Works business currently housed in the KBC. Lord, we are so grateful for the opportunity You have given us to celebrate life together as a Church Family in this magnificent building. We thank You, Gracious Father, in advance, for the New Sanctuary. Lord, You are truly great and greatly to be praised!
Holy Spirit, how can I pray specifically for The KBC staff this month?
Holy Spirit, touch the heart of the Greater Houston community to continue to utilize the services offered by The Kingdom Builders’ Center. Bless the staff and refresh their minds, bodies and spirits as they provide excellent customer service to all who enter this facility. Continue to surround the Business Office team with favor as they book events in the building. Help our Church Family to be good and faithful stewards of this fantastic building. Remind us as a Church Family to continually give thanks and reverence to the Father for this great facility.
Glorious Father, forgive us for taking Your awesome deeds for granted. Forgive those in our Church Family who leave trash and debris on the seats and hallways and do not do their part to help make sure the building remains clean and well maintained. Forgive those who are ungrateful and unappreciative of what You are doing through our congregation. Forgive those members who do not tithe and give you offerings. Father, forgive me for (list any sins that you have committed). Holy Spirit, remind us all of those we need to forgive and help us to be quick to forgive. As for me, Holy Spirit, bring to my remembrance those I need to forgive. (Take a moment and ask the Holy Spirit to reveal names or faces of people that you may need to forgive. As He reveals them, say, “I forgive name of person(s).” Now, trust the Lord to heal any wounds in your soul caused by unforgiveness.)
Holy Spirit, as a Church Family, help us not to yield to temptation but deliver us from the evil one.
Blessing, honor, glory, and power belong to You, the one sitting on the throne and to the Lamb forever and ever. You are worthy, O Lord our God, to receive glory and honor and power; for You created all things, and they exist because You created what You pleased. In Jesus’ name, amen.
