Prayer Topic #6:
A Prayer for Our Windsor Village Church Family
Scripture Reading:
Psalm 145:1-9, Isaiah 60:1-14
Reflections of the Heart:
Our time under God is definitely now! God is positioning us to seize His promises for our lives. So, as a Church Family, let us lift our voices together and confess the will of God to manifest in our lives. We boldly declare that we will manifest God’s Kingdom here on earth!
Scriptural Prayer:
Omnipotent Father, we thank You for our Windsor Village Church Family. Thank You for giving us pastors after Your heart. Thank You for Your glory manifesting in the lives of our Church Family members. We exalt You, our God and King. We will praise Your name forever and ever. Lord, You are great and most worthy of praise. No one can measure Your greatness. Each generation will tell its children of Your mighty acts; they will declare Your power. As a congregation, we will meditate on Your majestic, glorious splendor and Your wonderful miracles. Your awe-inspiring deeds will be on every tongue in our Church Family; we will tell everyone about Your greatness. We will share the story of Your wonderful goodness and sing with joy about Your righteousness.
Glorious Father, we thank You for blessing our Church Family with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly realm because we are united with Christ. Thank You for loving and choosing us in Christ to be holy and without fault in Your eyes, even before You made the world. Thank You for deciding in advance to adopt us into Your family by bringing us to Yourself through Jesus Christ. We praise You for the glorious grace You have poured out on us because we belong to Your Dear Son. Thank You, Lord, for giving us another Helper, the Holy Spirit, to teach us and bring to our remembrance all things that You have spoken. Thank You for blessing our Church Family spiritually, physically, financially, socially, and educationally. We will stand on Your Word and put all of our faith and confidence in You. We declare as Kingdom citizens that we will trust You with all areas of our lives. We confess that our works will reflect the faith that we have in You, our Father. Thank You for a vibrant, healthy, energetic, generous, and compassionate congregation. Thank You for Your grace, mercy, and miracles which You have poured out abundantly upon our congregation. Thank You for calling our Church Family to be a light in our community, city, nation, and world.
Today, I declare the following in the life of our Church Family:
Holy Spirit, help us to always remember God’s goodness and faithfulness towards our Windsor Village Church Family throughout the years. Help us to remember and rejoice in those blessings that God has bestowed upon us so that we will not grow complacent and spoiled. Holy Spirit, as a Church Family, please show us those areas in our lives where our faith is faltering and reveal the tools that we need to increase our faith. Help us to keep our eyes focused on You, Lord, Jesus, so that we are not distracted by the fake news, deception, and lies of the enemy. Holy Spirit, please help those to get the help they need to process disappointments and heal their internal wounds, so that we can all walk in our Kingdom authority. Empower us, The Windsor Village Church Family, to continue to do good works that will glorify You, our Father in Heaven. Strengthen our Church Family’s efforts to stand on the wall, staying alert and clearheaded to listen to the Holy Spirit as we pray. Let our armor of faith and love protect us and keep our focus on You.
Loving Father, forgive us for not always being appreciative to You for the many blessings You have bestowed upon us as a Church Family. Forgive those who take Your presence for granted. Forgive those who treat You irreverently. Forgive those who refuse to share Your blessings with others. Holy Spirit, remind us all of those we need to forgive and help us to be quick to forgive.
Holy Spirit, as a Church Family, help us all not to yield to temptation but deliver us from the evil one.
Great and marvelous are Your actions, Lord God Almighty. Just and true are Your ways, King of the nations. Who will not fear, O Lord, and glorify Your name? You alone are Holy. All nations will come and worship before You, for Your righteous deeds have been revealed. In Jesus’ name, amen.
