“Our love for God is measured by our everyday fellowship with others and the love it displays.”
~ Andrew Murray
Scriptural Prayer:
Abba Father, we thank You for righteous fellowship among the believers in our Church Family. We thank You for the precious bond we have with one another through the Holy Spirit. Thank You for the virtual events, activities and programs that help to create fellowship within our Church Family. We thank You with all our hearts as we connect with Your Godly people. Lord, You are an awesome God. Your deeds are so amazing; all who delight in You should ponder them. Everything You do reveals Your glory and majesty. Your righteousness never fails. You are wonderful and Your name is highly exalted. You are worthy of the glory, honor, and power. Lord, the heavens declare Your glory and the skies display Your craftsmanship.
Father God, Your will is for us to live together in unity. As a Church Family, we will motivate one another to acts of love and good works. We will not neglect our gatherings, and we will encourage one another in the faith. Iron sharpens iron, so we will surround ourselves with those who have like minds so that we are positioned to glorify You in our public and private lives. We declare that our Church Family will continuously enjoy righteous fellowship virtually, encouraging each other and building each other up.
Holy Spirit, we ask that You align our relationships with Your will in our homes, church, jobs and communities. Show each of us how to make more time in our daily schedules for Godly fellowship with other believers. Help our Church Family to set the example of what righteous fellowship looks like. Knit our hearts closer together in unconditional love. Holy Spirit, give us the courage to disassociate ourselves from those who operate in wickedness and disobedience to God’s will. Replace our unhealthy relationships with Godly relationships. Help us to let our light so shine before people that they may see our good works and glorify You, our Heavenly Father.
Holy Spirit, show me how to strengthen the God-ordained relationships in my life during this season:
Eternal Father, forgive us for acts of sinfulness. Forgive those of us who do not participate in Church Family activities. Forgive those who continue in unrighteous relationships that keep them from experiencing Your best for their lives. Forgive us for when we have been rude, unkind, and unfriendly towards others. Forgive us all for neglecting to make the effort to build our God-ordained relationships. Forgive us for the doors that we may have opened without knowing it from our childhood or adult experiences. Father, forgive me for (list any sins that you have committed). Holy Spirit, remind us all of those we need to forgive and help us to be quick to forgive. As for me, Holy Spirit, bring to my remembrance those I need to forgive. (Take a moment and ask the Holy Spirit to reveal names or faces of people that you may need to forgive. As He reveals them, say, “I forgive name of person(s).” Now, trust the Lord to heal any wounds in your soul caused by unforgiveness.)
Holy Spirit, help us all not to yield to temptation but deliver us from the evil one.
O Lord, the God of our ancestor Israel, You are to be praised forever and ever. Yours, O Lord, is the greatness, power, glory, victory, and the majesty. Everything in the heavens and on earth is Yours. This is Your Kingdom, Lord, and You are over all things. Wealth and honor come from You alone, for You rule over everything. In Jesus’ name, amen.
