 CLASS DESCRIPTIONS & LOCATIONS

Who We Are and Where We Are Going

In the Hangtime College Room on the 2nd Floor
Every Sunday @8:15 AM

This six-week course explores the rich cultural and spiritual heritage of the Black community, highlighting the intersection of identity, resilience, and empowerment. Through interactive activities such as creating identity maps, building historical timelines, and vision boards, participants will reflect on how systemic barriers, stereotypes, and historical experiences have shaped personal and cultural identities.

Blacks in the Bible
In The Promenade Room on the 2nd Floor
Every Sunday @ 11:30 AM

We have been socialized and taught to think and believe that the Biblical Patriarchs and Matriarchs were Anglo. We watched the “10 Commandments Movie”, “The Robe” and other movies which Yeshua was portrayed by Anglo Actors. About 15 years ago, Pastor Lily discovered that there were many Blacks in the Bible whose stories were NOT TOLD. She began researching historical profiles of various biblical people and discovered MOST of them were NOT White or Arab, but Black People!

The Unknown

In the High School Hangtime on the 2nd Floor
Every Sunday @ 11:30 AM

This class deals with filling in the gaps, misconceptions, and miseducation about African culture.  Teaching us the truth about the importance of black people in history.
