Week Two: The miracle of woman at the Well
John 4:1-42 NKJV
“Come see a man!”
Paul said to the church in Corinth “Now concerning spiritual gifts, brethren, I do not want you to be ignorant” (1st Corinthians 12:1) I too want all WVCF to be knowledgeable in every aspect of your Kingdom life. This next 6 weeks we are going to.
- T. Teach how Jesus Christ taught his disciples and others through the working of miracles.
- E. Equip each of us with the confidence, to trust God by learning his ways and acts.
- Activate us to access the anointing of God given to us through Holy Spirit to help, heal and make each other whole.
- Ministers to help us to serve the LORD by serving our spheres of influence.
Jerusalem (home), Judea (neighborhood, workplace, schools, social), Samaria (Areas of need and challenge), The world (Mission to other groups).
It is my goal that we became God’s Dream T.E.A.M.
We are going to use the S.O.A.P method to examine, investigate and learn about 5 different miracles of Jesus.
To provide context I want to give you a brief explanation of the difference between Signs, Wonders and Miracles.
Signs– Are for Indentfication: that by which a person or a thing is distinguished from others and is known. (Mark 16:17-18) These signs will follow those who believe.
I.D. Never leave home without it.
Wonder- Are for Magnification: a miraculous wonder, done to elicit a reaction from onlookers; an extraordinary event with its supernatural effect left on all witnessing it, i.e. a portent from heaven to earth. (Exodus 14: 13-18) And I indeed will harden the hearts of the Egyptians, and they shall follow them. So, I will gain honor over Pharaoh and over all his army, his chariots, and his horsemen.
Miracles: Are for Intervention : An extraordinary event manifesting divine intervention in human affairs, with strength, power, and ability. (Matthew 8:23-27) “Why are you fearful, O you of little faith?” Then He arose and rebuked the winds and the sea, and there was a great calm.

Life Lesson from John 4:1-42
- The Sign of this miracle.
That believers must put aside personal agendas to bring God’s powerful anointing.
This Identifies us as HIS People.
- The Wonder of this miracle.
The Jews are NOT the only people in the Kingdom. This miracle was NOT just healing the lady of her adultery but healing Israel of their idolatry.
This Magnifies Gods plan to save the Whole World.
- The Miracle of this miracle.
Jesus showed how we are NOT sent here to earth just to intercede we are here to intervene. We cannot just be interested and not get involved.
This shows HOW God through Us. Intervene.
