Matthew 12:46-50

2 Corinthians 4:1

Introduction:

A Letter from satan for Families

A Word for the Family.

Men: You are the PRIMARY of your Family, but you are NOT the PRIORITY IN your FAMILY.

• You are CAPABLE like Adam; God made you in HIS IMAGE AND LIKENESS.
• You are ACCOUNTABLE like Adam; God meets with YOU EVERY DAY.
• You are RESPONSIBLE like Adam; God gave you an assignment to dress your garden.
• You have SUSTAINABILITY like Adam; God gave you the assignment to keep the garden.

It was only GOOD but Not GREAT till SHE came!!!

Women: You are HELPER to your FAMILY, but you should NOT be the HINDERER of your FAMILY.

• You are ESSENTIAL like EVE; Adam NEEDS YOU and YOU are a part of HIM.
• You are EFFECTIVE like EVE; Adam can’t do it without your HELP.
• You are EXCELLENT like EVE; Adam has NEVER seen anybody like you.
• You are ETERNAL like EVE; all life birthed through man comes from you.

Because GOD knew that Satan would drive a wedge in the FAMILY through the marriage,

He gave Moses, the writer of Genesis, these words. Genesis 1:26-28

²⁶ Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over ^[g]all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.” ²⁷ So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them. ²⁸ Then God blessed them, and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that ^[h]moves on the earth.”

What happened? Who changed the recipe?

A Family that does not WORK together.

Adam and Eve walked together but did not work together.

A Family that does not LISTEN to each other.

Adam was not listening to Eve’s conversation; therefore, he did not stop her conversion.

A Family that would rather Cover Sin than Confess to GOD.

Instead of confessing their Sin (Therapy), they decided to cover themselves (Activities).

A Family whose Leader Loves.  Husbands, LOVE your Wives.

A Family whose Manager Submits.  Wives, submit to your Husband.

A Family where Executors Obey. Children, obey your parents in the LORD.

Families that practice MINDFULNESS

• Jesus has been the same since He was twelve. WOMAN, I MUST BE ABOUT MY FATHERS BUSINESS!!
  • Guard against distraction.
  • Guard against entitlement.
  • Keep you from disappointment.

Families that produce MINISTRY

• Jesus made it clear; I only have three years to train, equip disciples, and prepare them to become Apostles.
• You all have the same assignment; YOU must train, equip, and prepare yourselves and your children to serve God WHILE YOU STILL HAVE INFLUENCE!!!
  • Owner/Operator — Birth-16
  • Management — 16-20
  • Consultant — 21-death.

Families that promote the MASTER, Jesus Christ!  Verse 50

• Jesus made it clear what the relationship with HIM means.
• We work like HIM, serve like HIM, Obey GOD like HIM!
• What is your FAMILY business?
•             Equipping believers, Encouraging families, Educating everyone
• What is your FAMILY scripture?

I Peter 2:9-10 We are a Chosen, Royal, Holy, Peculiar, Priesthood because

we want to show forth the praises of im who brought us out of darkness into HIS light.
